Step 1 – Believe in Jesus

Step2 – Be sorry for your sins

Step 3 – Ask Jesus to save you

Step 4 – Be Baptised

Take the first step today to begin the great adventure for which God has chosen you.

Step 1 - Believe in Jesus

Jesus said “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”  John 14.6

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3.23

Sin is not to love and worship God, but to put yourself before God. 

  

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  Matthew 22.37

  

Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the cross. 1 Peter 2.24

For Christ (Jesus) died for sins, once for all, ……... to bring you to God. 1 Peter 3.18

By his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2.24

In Him (Jesus) was life, and that life was the light of men John 1.4

Step 2 - Be sorry for your sins

Repent and be baptised, every one of you, for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit Acts 2.38

Those whom I love, I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent. Revelations 3.19

God commands all people everywhere to repent. Acts 17.30

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins might be wiped out Acts 3.19

  

                                            Confess your sins to GOD

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins. 1 John 1.9

Step 3 - Ask Jesus to save you

If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. Romans 10.9

  

Here I am! (Jesus) I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he with me. Revelation 3.20

  

Come to me all who labour and are heavily laden and I will give you rest. Matthew 11.28

  

And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Acts 2.21

Step 4 - Be baptised in water

Truly, truly, I say to you unless one is born anew, he cannot see the Kingdom of God. John 3.3

  

Jesus answered, “I tell you the truth, no one can enter the Kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit. John 3.5

and receive the Holy Spirit

If you then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him. Luke 11.13

  

In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Acts 2.17

Becoming a Christian

For the Asking

He's waiting now,

To see what you're going to say,

What's it going to be?

Can you, will you,

Quietly, humbly, trustingly,

Ask him into your heart,

This man, Jesus,

Into your heart to stay? 

He died for you and He wants so much to give you His love. you can come to Him by saying this simple prayer:

Lord Jesus, come into my life and save me. I have sinned against you and I. here and now, accept you as my saviour. Thank you Jesus

Jesus will give you:

☺Love and foregiveness

☺ Comfort and strenght

☺ Eternal life in Him
